Subterranean termites need a constant source of moisture to survive. The provision of adequate ventilation in the sub-floor area also helps eliminate undue dampness. Pest managers using this product for termite management should advise the home owner that disturbing the treated soil barrier with subsequent construction of additions or alterations, paths, steps, landscaping, etc, may render the termite management system in place ineffective unless further management options are considered.

Colonies not in contact with the ground Occasionally subterranean termites establish a colony in a building without having contact with the soil because they have access to a continuous supply of moisture (eg. from a faulty plumbing fixture or leaking roof). Such colonies are not affected by chemical soil barriers and should be treated as recommended for established colonies, as per Australian Standard Series AS 3660.

Pidgeon’s Pest Controller Termiticide and Insecticide may be applied directly to the termite colony in such situations.

Directions For Use

1. Shake the container thoroughly before mixing.

2. Dilute with water at rates specified on the product label.

3. For termite barriers, apply via trenching, soil injection or reticulation systems ensuring complete and continuous coverage.

4. For general pest control, apply as a perimeter spray around foundations, walls, entry points and outdoor surfaces.

5. Use a coarse spray for outdoor applications.

6. Do not apply indoors.

7. Reapply as directed by the product label or local regulations.
