Reactor Wetter 600 Surfactant

Active Ingredient: Nonyl Phenol Ethylene Oxide Condensate @ 600g/L

Similar Or Comparable to Agral Spray Adjuvant (Syngenta) & Cropwett Wetter 600 Surfactant (SST)

Reactor Wetter 600 Surfactant is a non-ionic spray adjuvant/surfactant designed for use with herbicides, fungicides, insecticides and other weed control pesticides.  Made from Nonyl Phenol Ethylene Oxide Condensate, Reactor Wetter 600 is used to increase the activity of pesticides and to increase the spray droplet coverage for waxy leafed plants, which are normally hard to wet.  It increases the activity and efficiency of pesticides and herbicides, increases wetting, and improves spray coverage.  Reactor Wetter 600 can be used with alkaline sprays and, mixes easily with all types of water, and is registered for use as both a spreader spray & wetting agent.

Reactor Wetter 600 Surfactant for use with weed-killing sprays:
Reactor Wetter 600 Surfactant should be added to all post-emergence herbicide sprays to increase their efficiency, except for those which are known to contain adequate wetting agents in the formulation. Wetter should be added only where directed on individual labels as use with selective herbicides outside label directions may reduce crop selectively. For foliar active herbicides spray to the point where leaves and stems are just wet. Spraying beyond this will encourage run-off, with obvious loss of spray chemicals. When spraying waxy or hairy-leafed plants, which are normally hard to wet, increased activity will be obtained by increasing the rate of Reactor 600. It is important that the leaves and stems are thoroughly wetted for foliar herbicides to work efficiently, particularly when treating dense, tall vegetation.

Reactor Wetter 600 Surfactant for use with Horticultural Sprays:
Add Reactor 600 at 10mL per 100L of spray (2mL per 15L knapsack) to all horticultural sprays except those known to include adequate wetting agents in the formulation. Increased activity will be obtained by increasing the rate for waxy leafed plants which are normally hard to wet. It is important to spray only to the point of wetness. Excessive use of wetting agents can cause runoff of active ingredients with consequent loss of efficiency.

What types of spraying equipment is Reactor Wetter 600 Surfactant suitable to be used with;

  • High-volume power spray
  • Low-volume boom spray
  • Misting machines
  • Knapsack
  • Boom spray
  • Water tankers

Key Features

  • Contains the active ingredient Nonyl Phenol Ethylene Oxide Condensate
  • Suitable for use with a wide range of Agricultural Chemicals including Pesticides, Insecticides, Herbicides & Fungicides
  • Increases wetting and spray coverage
  • Increases activity of pesticides
  • Increases spray droplet coverage
  • Mixes with all types of water

Tips For Use

Horticultural Sprays:

  • Add Reactor Wetter 600 at 10mL per 100L of spray (2mL per 15L knapsack).
  • Reactor Wetter 600 is recommended for addition to all horticultural sprays except those known to include adequate wetting agent in the formulation. Increased activity will be obtained by increasing the rate for waxy leafed plants which are normally hard to wet.
  • It is important to spray only to the point of wetness. Excessive use of wetting agents can cause run off of active ingredient with consequent loss of efficiency.

Weed Killing Sprays:

  • Reactor Wetter 600 should be added to all post-emergence herbicide sprays to increase their efficiency except those which are known to contain adequate wetting agent in the formulation.
  • Wetter should be added only where directed on individual labels as use with selective herbicides outside label directions may reduce crop selectively.
  • For foliar active herbicides spray to the point where leaves and stems are just wet. Spraying beyond this will encourage run-off, with obvious loss of spray chemicals.
  • When spraying waxy or hairy leafed plants which are normally hard to wet, increased activity will be obtained by increasing the rate of Reactor Wetter 600.
  • It is important that the leaves and stems are thoroughly wetted for foliar herbicides to work efficiently, particularly when treating dense, tall vegetation
    • High Volume Power Spray: 12mL/100L
    • Low Volume Boom Spray: 60mL/100L
    • Misting Machines: 5mL/5L
    • Knapsack: 2mL/15L

Paraquat and Diquat (eg: Reglone, Gramoxone & Spray Seed)

  • For the maximum efficiency of these contact herbicides a higher rate of Reactor Wetter 600 must be used to ensure even and thorough coverage of plant foliage and to increase absorption.
  • This is particularly important for killing grasses and tall, dense vegetation.
    • High Volume Power Spray: 200mL/100L of spray
    • Boom Spray: 200mL/100L of spray
    • Knapsack: 30mL/15L of spray

Soil Residual Herbicides:

  • When applying soil active herbicides such as Diuron or Atrazine to standing weeds, add Reactor 600 to thoroughly wet foliage.
  • Rates will range from 125mL – 500mL/100L depending on product used.
  • Consult product labels for individual recommendations and restrictions.

Fire Fighting:
Reactor Wetter 600 is an efficient aid to fire fighting. It increases the wetting power of water which assists in quick control and mopping up of fires.

  • Water Tanker: 10mL/100L of water
  • Knapsack: 2mL/15L of water

General Instructions:

  • Reactor Wetter 600 is a spray additive designed for use with fungicides, insecticides and weed killers.
  • Reactor Wetter 600 increases the activity and efficiency of pesticides and herbicides.
  • It increases wetting and improves spray coverage.
  • Reactor Wetter 600 can  be used with alkaline sprays and mixes easily with all types of water.
  • It will not injure the tenderest foliage if used as directed.
  • Spray only to the point where leaves are just wet.
  • Spraying beyond this will encourage run-off, with obvious loss of spray chemicals.

Mixing:

  • Reactor Wetter 600 mixes easily and quickly with water and should be added directly to the spray tank.
